ATS Supply Chain Solutions delivers smart supply chain strategies and management solutions. The key to our excellent delivery is in the power of our people and our strategic partnerships. We are a management based Supply Chain Company – our entire mission is to create measurable business value and generate profits for our clients. Our management structure is a hands on top down process with senior managers involved in finite details of a clients process. On-site visits, operational input and training are our expertise. (The ATS senior managers also own and operate the Institute of Logistical Management, which trains logistics students worldwide). Our organization is lean at the top! All decisions are made after input from all the team members involved. This speeds up the decision – making process. All of our management is involved in contract logistics.
Management Bios
James J. (Jay) Brennan – President and a major principal in ATS. After graduating from Syracuse University in 1977 with a degree in Transportation Management, Mr. Brennan founded Brennan Transportation Services in 1977. His leadership built the organization from a one truck operation in 1977 to a profitable 110 truck, $20 Million gross revenue regional trucking power in 1995. He became a partner at ATS in 1996 and has helped guide ATS to be come a leading supply chain company as well as attracting numerous new clients and dozens of quality regional carriers to our team. Mr. Brennan’s combination of 30+ years of experience, knowledge, personal skills, problem solving abilities and carrier contacts have been critical to the growth of ATS Supply Chain Solutions.
G.J. (Jerry) Boyle – Vice President of Operations and a principal in ATS. Mr. Boyle has over thirty-six years of transportation, sales, operations, and logistics management experience. He personally has managed the supply chain of several of ATS’ clients. In this role he has handled all negotiations including carrier selection to driver leasing contracts and third party warehouse selection nationwide. This start up project has developed into a cost efficient distribution center for these clients. Mr. Boyle also has extensive freight bill auditing and payment experience. Prior to attending LaSalle University, Mr. Boyle attended the "Academy of Advanced Traffic Management", now known as "The Institute of Logistical Management"
Richard (Rich) Kuzy – Business Development and Senior Consultant. For executives, professionals and clients requiring expert assistance in the area of supply chain operations and implementations, Mr. Kuzy brings a wealth of experience. For more than 15 years, he has earned the reputation for providing skilled and practical guidance as a supply chain consultant and a recognized authority on logistics and operations. Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Mr. Kuzy spent 12 years managing and consulting for companies like ConAgra Foods, Ryder Systems, and Nabisco. Mr. Kuzy graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, receiving his bachelors and masters of science degree. He was a member of the 1986 National Championship Football Team. Rich is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and is an Advisory Board Member for the Institute of Logistical Management (ILM).
Hugh Gillespie - Operations Consultant Mr. Gillespie has over 40 years of experience in Distribution, Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Logistics Management. He has managed all aspects of a 1,000,000 square foot Retail Distribution Center for 9 West & Jones Apparel Group. During his tenure at 9 West he established a nationwide Pool Distribution network to service the company’s 1800 Retail Stores. Prior to 9 West he worked as a Terminal Manager for Carolina Freight & Roadway Express. Hugh also has experience in Intermodal & Rail Operations. After attending Temple University Hugh graduated from the Academy of Advanced Traffic now known as the Institute of Logistical Management.
